Independent Tech Consulting · Est. 2026

Built for the
long tide.

Senior technology work — ERP, integrations, modernization — for teams that need it done right, but don't need a full-time hire.

§ 01 — What I do

Four areas of focus.
That's the whole menu.

I work in a narrow lane on purpose. Senior depth in a few places beats shallow breadth across many — and it's the only honest way one person can do this job well.

/ 01

ERP & system integration

Make Odoo, SAP, or QuickBooks actually work for how your business runs. Connect the systems your team is already pretending to use.

/ 02

E-commerce & B2B platforms

Order management, inventory, payment flows, customer-facing portals. The plumbing that turns spreadsheets into a system.

/ 03

Legacy modernization

That 12-year-old PHP app you're afraid to touch. Security hardening, refactoring, careful migrations — without breaking what works.

Data pipelines & automation

Replace the daily Excel ritual. ETL jobs, scheduled batches, reports that build themselves — so your team can stop being the integration layer.

§ 02 — How it works

From hello to first
line of code, in 7 days.

No proposals committee, no procurement gauntlet. We talk, we agree on scope, we start. Most engagements begin within a week of the first call.

STEP 01

Discovery call

Free 30-minute call to understand what's broken, what you've tried, and whether I'm the right fit.

Day 1
STEP 02

Proposal

Written scope, hours, and timeline. Plain language. Fixed-fee for projects, transparent for retainers.

STEP 03

Sign & kickoff

Standard agreement, NDA if needed, access provisioning. Kickoff call to align on the first week.

Days 4–5
STEP 04

Work begins

First commits, first integration tests, first weekly update. The boring, valuable work starts.

§ 03 — Recent work

A few things worth shipping.

Anonymized for confidentiality. Each represents work owned end-to-end — design, build, deploy, operate.

ERP · Cross-system Integration

Bidirectional QuickBooks ↔ Odoo bridge

Designed a Flask + QODBC bridge service synchronizing invoices, bills, payments, and chart of accounts between an Odoo 16 ERP and a legacy QuickBooks Desktop installation. Replaced a recurring manual reconciliation workflow.

Automation · Payroll

Biometric clock-in → automated payroll

Architected an HR/payroll system for a ~300-person manufacturer integrating BioStar biometric devices, computing wages with overtime rules, and generating weekly vendor invoices automatically. Collapsed a multi-hour Excel workflow into seconds.

Legacy · Security

PHP codebase security hardening

Migrated an entire legacy PHP/MySQL e-commerce codebase to prepared statements, deployed mod_security, and mitigated active DDoS patterns via IP-based blocking. Eliminated remaining SQL injection vectors across all user-input endpoints.

Multi-tenant SaaS · Algorithm

Real-time scoring + Hungarian Algorithm matching

Built a multi-tenant platform shipping iOS native + web + Django backend, with Django Channels real-time match mode, Hungarian Algorithm (scipy) for optimal entity matching across 23 attributes, and Monte Carlo simulation for outcome prediction.

§ 05 — About

Why one person, on purpose.

Most consulting agencies sell you a senior in the pitch and hand the work to a junior. Evertide is the opposite: I take the call, I write the code, I own the outcome. There is no team to hide behind.

The work behind Evertide spans more than a decade — production ERP architecture across Odoo, SAP integration via RFC and EDI, cross-system bridges into QuickBooks and biometric devices, AWS infrastructure as code, and security hardening on legacy codebases. Multiple concurrent production ERP deployments running today, owned end-to-end by one engineer.

In parallel, I founded and operate an independent SaaS platform — multi-tenant architecture, real-time WebSocket infrastructure, Hungarian Algorithm matching, Monte Carlo simulations, and five-language localization — solo across iOS, web, and backend.

That means I'm careful about how many clients I take on. Three to five retainer relationships at a time, each one treated like the only one.
